Bloody Beautiful Bluenose

"Bluenose Curry"

This is a deep sea fish which has the whitest meat once cooked. It is great for curry's, as it holds together really well and is a very dense meat which fills you up in no time.

Cooking instructions:

  • Dice meat
  • Cook in butter & olive oil
  • Add onions (rings or diced)
  • Add curry paste (to taste)
  • Add a tblsp of brown sugar
  • Add coconut creme, simmer
  • Reduce till creamy
  • Serve on fresh rice
  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Serve with garlic bread, so go hard harry

 

Not so Triumphant Trumpeter

"Tasty Trumpeter"

This is one of the tastiest fish you can catch.

Once upon a time they were a reef fish which fed off of shell fish etc, which were close to shore. As more and more toxins from forestry and silt from rivers, made it's way into the ocean, the trumpeters food source was depleted.

They then moved to deeper waters to secure a suitable food source and hence, deeper waters means bigger fish.

This is a massively big Trumpeter.
